MediaTek is a Taiwanese fabless chipmaker best known for its Dimensity smartphone processors, which increasingly ship with on-device AI accelerators for tasks like generative AI features, camera processing, and voice assistants. It also designs chips for smart TVs, IoT devices, and connectivity hardware, and partners with AI model makers to optimize their models for its silicon.
